2024 AGM

We are holding the Golden Minor Soccer AGM 

Monday, Feb 5, 7:30 @ Golden Secondary School

We would love all of you to attend to help build and brainstorm GMSA for our community. 

You will not be pressured to join the board BUT we would love you to consider it  

We can only grow and improve soccer for our kiddos with more volunteers! So please come and bring your soccer friends.

We have the following board positions open at this time that we need to fill before we can make this season happen:

- Treasurer

- Registrar (everything is set up and ready to go)

- Sponsorships/jerseys (most of this has been started)

There are a lot of other support roles that need volunteers. These board and volunteer spots do not require a big time commitment - we don't meet very often and the soccer season is super short! Please consider helping.

Some new business ideas we plan to chat about:

- board member openings: all are up for voting

- format of practices/games 

- jerseys – U5/U9 Tim Hortons, U9 – U15 purchase returnable kits

- field set up and equipment options

- resources for coaches

- year-end wrap-up

- start and end dates of registration and practices/games

- how to recruit for coaches and refs

- BC Soccer membership possibility
